Very Simple First Lace Scarf

“Falling Water” is a very simple lace patterned scarf. We will cover the basics of following a lace pattern using both written and charted instructions.

Materials required: 300 – 400 yards of a soft fingering weight wool yarn and US #5 or #6 needles of any length.

A sport weight, dk or light worsted weight yarn can be substituted for a heavier, wider scarf. Dark colors are NOT recommended for your first lace project.
