Were you wowed by the beaded bracelets and necklaces at the Freshman Fifteen trunk show this past fall? Learn to make your own!
In this two week class we will learn how to do circular crochet with beads. In the first week, you will learn the basic technique and in the second class, you will finish the bracelet (join the ends).
A great resource for bead crochet is Bert and Dana Freed’s book, Bead Crochet Jewelry. The illustrations are very easy to follow and there are many project ideas in it. While we will have a couple copies to use during class, you may like to order your own copy.
A prerequisite for this class is knowledge of the single crochet stitch. If you are not confident in your crochet, taking the Learn to Crochet 1 class will get you to the point where you can do this class.
Preparation work: You will be pre-stringing your beads.
