Socktober 2019

Socks don’t have to be so scary!

This year October has been renamed to Socktober because all month we are going to help take the fear out of making a pair of socks.

Small needles and thin yarns as well as unfamiliar techniques seem to scare off knitters from trying socks, but there is nothing to be afraid of. Socks knit up relatively quickly, and although it might seem like a complicated thing to do, knitting a pair of socks is not hard at all. They are super portable and you can finally do something fun with that skein you bought on a whim. You can knit as many socks as you like because you will always need them.

Have you ever wondered why anyone would want to make socks?
